Terms of Service

WardForge is a Discord security tool that provides anti-phishing protection, anti-raid detection, server backup and restoration, automated moderation, and a management dashboard accessible at dash.wardforge.org.

The service is provided "as is". While we strive for maximum availability and effectiveness, WardForge is a supplementary security layer and does not replace the responsibility of server administrators to configure and monitor their communities appropriately.

We are not liable for damages resulting from misconfiguration of the bot by the user, actions taken by the bot based on incorrect rule settings defined by the server owner, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control (e.g. Discord API outages).

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Discord and this service.
• You must have the necessary permissions on the Discord server to add and configure WardForge.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and dashboard access. WardForge is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from compromised credentials.
• Each Discord account and server is limited to one free 7-day trial. Attempting to circumvent this limit (e.g. by creating new accounts) is a violation of these Terms.

Premium subscriptions are processed exclusively through Stripe, a secure third-party payment provider. WardForge does not store your payment card details.

• Free trial: 7 days of full Premium access, limited to once per server. No credit card is required to start the trial.
• Premium subscription: billed monthly or annually as indicated at checkout. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
• Enterprise Tier: custom pricing negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@wardforge.org for a quote.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe customer portal. Access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase affects your active subscription.

Given the digital nature of the service, refunds are governed by the following policy:

• Within 14 days of purchase: a full refund is available if the Premium features have not been actively used (no backups created, no protected servers configured).
• After 14 days or with active usage: refunds are granted on a discretionary basis in cases of demonstrable technical failure on our part.
• Free trial periods are not eligible for refunds as no payment is taken.
• To request a refund, contact support@wardforge.org with your order ID and reason. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.

By using WardForge, you agree to:

• Use the bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Not use the bot to harass, harm, or discriminate against individuals or groups.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt WardForge's infrastructure.
• Take full responsibility for the bot's actions on your server — including automated moderation decisions triggered by rules you have configured.
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable local, national, or international laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice and without refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WardForge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or server configuration due to user error or Discord API failures.
• Security breaches resulting from misconfigured bot rules.
• Service unavailability due to force majeure or third-party infrastructure issues.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of WardForge shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

All code, branding, design, and documentation related to WardForge are the exclusive property of the WardForge team. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

Server configuration data you create (rules, templates) remains your property. By using the backup system, you grant us a limited licence to store and reproduce this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of significant changes via our Discord support server.

These Terms may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of WardForge following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
